Here are few pictures from Cariboo Calico Quilters latest workshop held Aug 20, 2010. We started at noon and quilted til everyone was ready to call it quits. Some people came and went and others stayed the whole time. We ordered in pizza for dinner and everyone was ravishing by the time it came. I left just after dinner so not sure when it ended. This workshop was for people to bring and finish UFO's (LOL). The quilt on the wall is Betty Easthope's 3.6.9 quilt that was fabulours all in florals.
Hi, I'm a retired Home Ec teacher. I'm married and have 2 grown children. A son and a married daughter with a grandson and twins (boy and girl). As well as being an avid scrapbooker and card maker, I love to quilt and belong to Cariboo Calico Quilters group as well as the Gold Rush Grannies group. This group is part of the Grandmothers to Grandmothers campaign which raises money to send to the Stephen Lewis Foundation to raise money to help Grandmothers in Africa raise their grandchildren that have been orphaned by aids. My other interests are cooking and baking as well as reading.
