Quilt Til Ya Wilt

Here are few pictures from Cariboo Calico Quilters latest workshop held Aug 20, 2010. We started at noon and quilted til everyone was ready to call it quits. Some people came and went and others stayed the whole time. We ordered in pizza for dinner and everyone was ravishing by the time it came. I left just after dinner so not sure when it ended. This workshop was for people to bring and finish UFO's (LOL). The quilt on the wall is Betty Easthope's 3.6.9 quilt that was fabulours all in florals.

This card I put together for a challenge at iCopic. The image is from High Hopes called Handy Man. The challenge was to use red, blue and yellow - not my favourite colour combination but..... I used a Cuttlebug folder on brown card stock to make it look like wood grain.

Rock Star

This is a card I made using Ikadinkado Rock Star stamps. I followed a tutorial I found online by Michelle Zindorf. Thought this made a great card for those teen boys. The guitar was stamped and embossed. Then I coloured in the brown wood part and embossed with clear powder. Added swirls in background using Autumn Leaves Swirls stamp set. The background was sponged using Tsuinko dye inks in Dandelion, Pear Tart, Cottage Ivy.
